WALRUS NY – The suspense. The drama. The joy of new ink.

One day we set up hidden cameras, camped out in the back room of a Staples store and watched a full orchestra surprise shoppers by scoring their mundane ink counter experiences with ridiculously dramatic music.

Performed by professional NYC musicians, the original music was composed by the conductor to highlight the full "emotional experience" of ink shopping. 

We then turned the stunts into this video, which was used online as social and pre-roll content. 

I would just like to point out the 3rd picture, which shows a guy making copies and another studying with headphones on right alongside the percussionist as he banged on the timpani and crashed those cymbals. That made me laugh.
