Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project Case Study

JWT NY – The Nightlife Exchange Project was a once-in-a-lifetime* experience on the same night in 14 countries and 6 continents. We asked people in each country to submit the best of their local nightlife, which we packed into shipping crates (literally and figuratively) and exchanged in one epic global celebration on November 27, 2010, or as we called it, the day the world swapped nights. MTV followed the entire process and created weekly webisodes. I greatly enjoyed attending the party in Dublin.
We shot a promo TV spot that ran before the parties and then cut a spot from party footage that played after it all went down.
* Well, maybe not once-in-a-lifetime. It happened again in 2011.
